Wolfforth Methodist's Parent’s Day Out & Preschool program serves families in our community by providing early childhood education for children from 3 months to 4 years old. Our program focuses on nurturing children in a Christ-centered environment, fostering their spiritual, physical, academic, social, and creative growth through intentional love and care.
A day at WMC PDO & Preschool is filled with activities designed to support children’s sensory exploration and development. Through touching, seeing, hearing, and more, children begin to explore their world. With supportive teachers nearby to guide and encourage, each activity is tailored to the child’s development, interests, and needs — because for preschoolers, play is serious work.
In our 3- and 4-year-old preschool classes, children are taught the basic fundamentals of reading such as phonemic awareness and letter-sound recognition. They also focus on basic mathematics skills such as sorting, patterns, shapes, and number recognition. Our preschool teachers are eager to prepare children for kindergarten while nurturing biblical values and having fun.
